Karaoke Night... Kinda

So Thursday is karaoke night at the Pizza Pie Cafe. Liz had her birthday over fall break so we decided to celebrate this week and what better way than take advantage of the $6 buffet and drink. Good deal right?! And since we are all poor college students, it was perfect!

Except for the fact that we are not brave enough to actually sing... so we commented on other's singing. Which was fun too because people watching at karaoke night is highly entertaining!

Keni doesn't like the Miley Cyrus or the Justin Bieber songs
So....
She steals my ipod and takes selfies

Don't judge... I was full and listening to bad music

So Keni announces that she no longer wanted to walk. So... we helped out a little :)

MAIL!

I love getting mail. It's pretty much great. Even when it's just junk mail... but this week I got actual exciting mail!

First up is my music! You know how long I've been waiting for this?! 6 weeks!!!!!!!!! Now I can practice with my own music :) but I'm also waiting for some more music... 1/2 made it so far.

Next is my missionary mail! Now first you have to know that my roommates are awesome! Keni comes into the room last night and says, "I have a surprise for you. But, first finish your homework!" So like a good little student I did (most) of my homework and then asked for my surprise. "It's in the ceiling."What the what?! So I went on a little hunt. I totally found it and I might have freaked out a little... it was a letter from Elder Curtis Christensen!! Apparently, they wanted to see my reaction. And I didn't disappoint!

So, yeah. I like mail... and will most likely post when I do get mail. Cause it's not very often.

Family, Friends... Actress?

Hello! This might be a long post but it was a really fun weekend!

So it was my fall "break" which actually was only one day off... but I'll take what I can get! So me, my brother (Steve), and Katherine (his girlfriend who I absolutely adore!) drove down to good ol' Saratoga to stay with my family. But, since we always are running a tad bit late (not my fault this time) we drove directly to Provo for my brother Dan's birthday dinner at The Spaghetti Factory. Dan always has his birthday dinner there because he is a lover of Lasagna (random side note). Another random side note: I'm pretty pro at driving from Logan to Saratoga.

I'm sorry but I forgot my camera in the car so no pictures... sad day. But I do have an pretty picture of Saratoga! (strait from my backyard)

My Ipod just didn't do it justice...

Friday I just slept, did laundry, and ate food... speaking of eating food, my mom makes a lot of food and my stomach has shrunk during my semester of college so I was constantly full... weird. But on Saturday I went to BYU to visit my cougar friends. I LOVE THEM! It was so much fun! First I saw Emily and Lorraine which was exciting because I hadn't seen them since September!

Look at us all cute :)
And Emily has all the pictures so this is the only one for now

After my adventures with them I went and saw Brenden. Brenden (for those who don't know) has been one of my best friends since freshman year. He was such the awkward little boy until Cara and I became his friend and then he was friends with everyone and was SBP. So yeah! I love him!

These next photos need a bit of explanation. Brenden has a little Geo that has been the high school "joke" but we actually really love it. So randomly I like to model in front of it (as do most of my high school friends) so per tradition, we modeled in front of the Geo.

We also fed the killer ducks.... seriously it was scary. The second they saw the bred they started following and getting dangerously close to our feet... I might have freaked out a bit.

Brenden was brave. I was not.

Friends: Check
Family: Check
Actress?!

yep, I was in a film. With my amazing british accent. Oh yeah... So story time. I came home from school (back in May) and my brother had his high school friends over. Cool... carry on as I make my quesadilla and then disappear. (As a child when they came over I was banished so I guess seeing them just brought out my shy hermit side again.) Come to find out, they were writing music for the movie they were making.  I finished my quesadilla and came up stairs just as they were leaving. They then proceeded to ask me if I wanted to be an extra. YEAH I DO! SO I went to the reading the next week. Well somehow I read the lines for someone and I was so good (haha) that they asked me to be that character (Maid Ellen). SO yeah... that's how my acting career got started.

Anyway! Well the movie, Allen-a-Dale, was premiering Saturday at BYU (hence why I was there). So that was fun. And I've decided I don't like seeing (or hearing!) myself on film. But everyone says I did great so I just agree (in good ol' Becca style). Here is the cast (that was present on Saturday)

Behind the scenes of this picture. I thought they just wanted a "high school friends are back together!" picture. So I didn't join the picture at first. But, to my surprise they said "we need maid Ellen." So I awkwardly joined the picture.

Than I joined their outing to In-N-Out burger which was really fun! I want to see someone beat our record of sitting 9 people to one table on the outside In-N-Out tables. Haha accidental games of footsie galore! Maybe I'm the only one who noticed though because I'm super awkward. Why was I so awkward around them you may ask. Because you have to understand that these boys were like my childhood idols. It would be like if I met Benedict Cumberbatch now... (ok bad example. But you get the idea)

Welp, that it folks!! Until next time!

P.S. I use a lot of parentheses. Sorry. But I'm not an English major for a very good reason.

Just Some Adventures

So first of all there are a few people you have to "thank" for this blog.
1. Kailey because she told me to join the "dark side" and create a blog
2. Keni and McKenna. My amazing roommates who also blog. Last night I said "I don't want to go to bed, distract me please!" To which they responded, "Start a blog... it will take time"

They were so right! It took forever! Can you all just take a moment and look at the cute design of this blog so that my hours of getting a bit frustrated instead of sleeping will be worth it. Thanks! Also, picking a blog title is one of the hardest things to do. And those silly name generators are not good. I'm not actually going to name my blog "Doughnut pants" or something with "Fashionista!" So a shout out to my brother for calling us music majors practice room dwellers. The perfect inspiration!

So Keni and I like starting crafty projects at midnight. A bad habit really... but worth it! Over the weekend we decided our room was boring. So, Friday night we spruced it up a bit with pictures!! Keni is so crafty and she gets all the credit but I helped... Here is the empty wall space (now not so empty) above our desks.

Isn't it so cute!! I love it!

This past weekend me and the roomies (minus 2) went to Little Bear Bottoms. For those who don't know it's a corn maze (we didn't go to the haunted part because I am in fact a baby when it comes to all things scary...) BUT, this was the first time I ever made it out the exit of a corn maze. I usually get a little claustrophobic and more than a little impatient and start foraging my own path which usually ends up taking me to the parking lot or out the kiddie corn maze entrance... a story for another day. But this time I went out the exit!! Huzzah!

Now for pictures!!

 Me, Liz, Caitlin, and Kelly

 Lost...

It was muddy...

Success!!

Well, that's it for now. More adventures to come!!
